“We must vote” – Ojo residents take to the streets to protests against Thuggery and disenfranchisement

Residents of Onireke, Opposite Ojo cantonment in Lagos state have taken to the streets to protest against alleged disenfranchisement and attacks by alleged thugs in the state.

There have been widespread reports on social media of attacks by thugs on voters in the ongoing Governorship and State House of Assembly elections taking place in Nigeria.



In the Onireke area of Ojo scores of residents could be seen chanting “we must vote” as they marched with sticks, bottle,s and plants to the polling unit.
