Nigerian professor becomes the head of century-old psychiatric hospital in Canada

A Nigerian professor, Adam Abba-Aji, has became the head of a century-old psychiatric hospital in Canada.

Abba-Aji, a psychiatrist from Borno State who has been working in Canada for two decades has been appointed as the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Alberta Hospital Edmonton (AHE), one of the oldest and most prestigious psychiatric hospitals in Canada.

Alberta Hospital Edmonton (AHE) was established in 1923 and will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year.
