Model who spent thousands turning herself into Barbie doll turns face back to 'normal'

A model who had just spent thousands perfecting her Barbie-like look has undone the work by dissolving fillers in her face, cheeks and jaw.

Candice Kloss, 21, wanted her old self back after the expensive cosmetic surgery but says she doesn't regret the procedures.

She only finished her new look is September and decided weeks later that she had made a massive mistake.

The woman from New York, US, had so much work done that at one point that she "forgot" what she used to look like.

Now she has revealed that she wants her natural looks back after years of having fillers injected into her face.

The Instagram influencer, who has an IQ of 137, spent $15,000 (£11,000) turning herself into a doll but stressed she doesn't regret the experience.

But now she says she is tired of looking "fake" and is now turning her face back to "normal".

Candice said: “In September 2021 I had the fillers that were in my lips, cheeks and jawline all removed.

“I realised that it wasn’t enhancing my beauty to continue to get this kind of work, it was making me look older having so much in my face.

“A lot of young women get filler to look younger but we don’t realise when it’s gone too far.

“I spent years looking fake but now I want to be a natural beauty.

“I realised that it wasn’t enhancing my beauty to continue to get this kind of work, it was making me look older having so much in my face.

“Now that I've got rid of it I feel so much better.

“I had forgotten what my face looked like without filler!”

Candice's family and friends were used to her Barbie-like appearance but when she first started transforming into a doll, the model's parents were a bit shocked.

She said: “My mum is very happy I’m becoming more natural, she doesn’t like filler.

“My dad is indifferent, he is used to me being out there.

“I think because it’s so dramatically different to my natural look they were quite surprised but they’re very supportive. It’s my face and body.”

In an emerging trend over the past few years, Candice has followed in the footsteps of other celebrities and influencers who are reversing their non-surgical beauty choices.

One such person includes Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague, 21, who recently dissolved her fillers.

There's also Khloe Kardashian, who has had fillers multiple times in the past, having said that she "looked crazy".

Although she is easing back on the injectables, Candice still likes to put on a full face of makeup every day, which takes her roughly 45 minutes.

She said: “I've always experimented with different looks, but I really started to embrace the doll style back in 2019.

“For years I was just doing the blonde hair but then slowly got more into it with doll-style makeup, Mirror reports.

"Since getting my filler dissolved I haven’t changed my make-up much but it looks much better without the injectables.

“Every month I spend around $2,000 getting my hair bleached and extensions added in, both of which can take around seven hours to complete at a time.

“To keep the ‘doll look’ I love to wear anything white or pink that is pretty and girly.

“I don’t wear things like baggy jeans or oversized clothing, unflattering clothes like that should only be worn at home.”
