The founder of Dunamis Church, Pastor Paul Eneche, has said Nigerians are not destined to be poor but are denied access to the nation’s resources by bad leadership.

Eneche, who spoke in Ilorin, Kwara State, ahead of a three-day crusade organised by his church said, "We are in Ilorin for a healing and deliverance crusade for the people of Kwara State and the environs."

He attributed the agonising economic situation in the country to a high level of irresponsibility by both leadership and follower-ship.

He said, "It is obvious to the whole world that Nigeria can never be poor, but a high level of irresponsibility at all levels has made resources in the country not be able to impact the lives of the people."

"We believe that by the time the right things are done both by the leadership and follower-ship, Nigeria can and must never be classified as a poor country."
