Gunmen Attack Ebonyi Village Again
In the early hours of Monday, gunmen allegedly attacked Ebele village in Ngbo, Ohaukwu Local government area of Ebonyi State. However, it is not yet confirmed if there are human casualties as at the time of filing this report.
A source from the area alleged that attackers invaded the village and burnt down many houses.
According to the source, some victims of the attack sustained various degrees of injuries while vehicles and motorcycles were also burnt.
When contacted, Ebonyi state Commissioner for Internal security and border peace, Mr. Stanley Okoro Emegha said he was told that the attackers, came from Agila community, a border community between Ebonyi and Benue State.
