Medical Trip: Nasir El-Rufai, others mock Omokri over protest towards Buhari in UK

The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has mocked a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri over the protest he organised towards President Muhammadu Buhari in London on Friday.


Buhari on Tuesday jetted out to London in which he's anticipated to spend at least weeks carrying out ordinary media checkup.


However, Nigerians residence in the UK, in protest in opposition to the President’s medical visit, trooped to the Abuja House in London, challenging that he's despatched back to Nigeria.


Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, who shared a video on Twitter, confirmed the protesters on the Abuja house grounds making the demand.

During the protest, Omokri had accused Buhari of being irresponsible, pronouncing the President left Nigeria for a medical trip the day resident medical doctors have been embarking on a national strike


He instructed his listeners that Buhari has been in office for over five years however has did not initiate, begin and finish even one hospital.


Omokri claimed that over N10 billion has thus far been budgeted for the Aso Rock State House Clinic in the 5 years that Buhari has been President however alleged there has been not anything to display for the monies spent.
