Ole Gunnar Solskjaer asked about new Manchester United contract

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists a new Manchester United contract is not his priority at the moment as he approaches the halfway stage of his existing three-year deal.
Solskjaer was appointed permanently in March 2019 and is approaching a season-and-a-half into the three-year contract he was given.
But talk of a new deal is not something the Norwegian is entertaining at the moment, insisting his focus is on improving the fortunes of the club he has represented as a player and a manager.
United have suffered from inconsistency under Solskjaer's tenure but there has also been undoubted progress since he was appointed on a permanent basis.
This season could turn out to be crucial in deciding whether he earns an extension to that three-year deal, but Solskjaer played down talk of it being a decisive campaign for him personally, instead focusing on progressing for the club.
“We live in a results business and all I want is for Man United to improve as a team and as a club," he said.
“I have very good dialogue with the club all of the time.
“You have to think long-term and short-term – and I would never ever think that this is my chance to prove a point and that it's all about me.
“That's not what it's about here. Every decision I make is for the good of Man United.
“For me, it's about results and if we keep improving we have a very good opportunity because this team and this squad is going places.”
